I am a transwoman working on a Masters of Divinity Degree at Pacific School of Religion and a member of City of Refuge, United Church of Christ. The senior pastor is Bishop Yvette A. Flunder. I am a retired Navy veteran of 22 years and have travelled extensively through Europe, North Africa and Southwest Asia or more commonly known as the Middle East. I have two beautiful children. My son is 18 and my daughter is 16. I began transition in the late 90's and through prayer and the grace of God its been a wonderful experience even with the bumps and bruises. Through God's divine plan and the use of the military I was able to see the plight of many different people and the global oppression that exist in and through all people. I see the need of healing throughout the world and have come in line with the teachings of Christ to be a disciple and a sojourner on the path to global healing.

My interests involve reading, writing, great movies and cycling.

I love classical and R&P music such as Beethoven's 9th Symphony, All of Brahms music, Bach, Ashford and Simpson, Roberta Flack, Gladys Knight and the Pips.

My favorite books are Where have all the prophets gone? by Marvin A. McMickle, Where the Edge Gathers by Bishop Yvette A. Flunder, A History of God by Karen Armstrong, Crossing Over by Vanessa Sheridan, Transgender Journeys by Virginia Mollekott and Vanessa Sheridan, Transgendering Faith edited by Leanne McCall Tigert & Maren C. Tirabassi, Bonhoeffer as Martyr by Craig J. Slane

My favorite movies are Different for Girls, Roman Holiday, Star Wars, The Life of Martin Luther King, Hairspray, Sleepless in Seattle, Any movie with Denzel Washington and Casablanca

And last but not least I love cycling, racquetball, hiking and I also love playing chess.

When all is said and done my life has been about God, prayer and me.
